With Strongest Regionals Finish Ever, UGA Earns Second Bid to Nationals

3.2.09 UGA earned a second bid to Nationals Sunday with a top five finish at the Bulldog/Blazer Regional in Birmingham, AL.
The program will send two teams to compete at the March 27-28 Opening Round Championship Series of Nationals in Greenville, SC.
The UGA team receiving a bid to Nationals tallied a record of 6-1-1, the best regionals finish for any team in UGA Mock Trial history.
The team's loss and tie came to Middle Tennesssee State, who got second place. The tie was MTSU's only non-win at the tournament.
Brian Mink won an All-Region Attorney award at the regional tournament, and Chip Carnes and Michelle Pope won All-Region Witness awards.
