UGA Shows Depth: Two Teams Place Near Top at MTSU's Midsouth Invitational

11.15.08 Continuing a string of strong finishes this season, UGA's teams took 3rd place and Honorable Mention at Middle Tennessee State's Midsouth Invitational in Murfreesboro, TN.
UGA's 3rd place team ended the tournament with a record of 6-0-2, tieing two ballots with a team from MTSU. UGA's Honorable Mention team finished 5-3, losing two ballots to an 8-0 MTSU team that placed 1st.
The tournament included two large divisions composed of teams from across the South and Midwest.
Rebecca Corey won an Outstanding Attorney award at the tournament, Andrei Ionescu won an Outstanding Witness award, and Jesika Wehunt won Outstanding Attorney and Outstanding Witness awards.

UGA team members competing on the Honorable Mention Midsouth Invitational team were: Jesika Wehunt (E Board, '10), Brandon Amey (Captain, '11), Erin Cummins ('11), Mary Elizabeth Kidd ('10), Logan Krusac ('12), Ben Levy ('10), Michelle Pope ('11), and Lindsay Worsham ('12).
