Largest Tryouts Ever Yield Outstanding Class of New Members
9.24.09 Nearly 100 people participated in tryouts for UGA Mock Trial this year, with only one out of every three making the team.
This year's tryouts were both the largest and most selective of any tryouts in the program's seven-year history. The class of new members this year includes 19 freshmen, 10 sophomores, three juniors, and one senior.
UGA Mock Trial welcomed its 33 new members at the first team meeting on Sept. 10, and began training them with three workshops held over the last two weeks. All members have begun meeting with their teams to prepare for invitationals in the Fall.
