Teams Take 2nd, 3rd at U. of Florida

11.7.10 — UGA Mock Trial sent two teams to the University of Florida's First Annual Gator Growlin' Invitational this weekend and returned with 2nd and 3rd place.
The tournament featured 15 universities from Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, and Alabama, with Florida State finishing in 1st place.
UGA Team1134 finished in 2nd place with a record of 6-1-1, losing and tieing to South Carolina A, and beating Central Florida, South Florida, and South Carolina B.
UGA Team 1135 finished in 3rd place with a record of 6-2, losing to 1st place Florida State on both ballots, and defeating North Florida, Georgia Tech, and the University of Florida.
UGA team members competing at the Gator Growlin' Invitational on Team 1134, which finished in 2nd place at 6-1-1, were: Brandon Amey (E Board, '11), Curry Andrews (Captain, '11), Muneeb Ahmed ('12), Jessie Andrews ('12), Patrick Bennett ('13), Ria Mehta ('13), and Steven Shelton ('13).
Competing on UGA Team 1135, which finished in 3rd place at 6-2, were: Jarred Klorfein (E Board, '11), Alli Bailey ('14), Thomas Buscemi ('13), Katie Clifford ('12), Sam Kinsman ('14), Madeline McCullers ('13), Philip Oldham ('14), and Clayton Sharp ('13).
