1.15.12 The University of Georgia brought home a first place victory and multiple individual awards at the Vanderbilt's Commodore Classic Invitational in Nashville, TN.
After mocking it out with some of the toughest competitors from across the country, UGA teams were able to finish with excellent records.
UGA Team 1428 finished in 1st place with a record of 6-1-1 after winning both ballots from Rhodes College and Roger Williams University, winning one ballot and tying one ballot with the University of Iowa, and splitting ballots with Bellarmine University.
UGA Team 1429 won both ballots from Ohio State University, while winning and tieing with Miami University. They narrowly missed wins against Chicago University and Notre Dame.
Brandon Amey ('12) won an Outstanding Attorney Award while Muneeb Ahmed ('13), Clayton Sharp ('13), and David Keener ('14) all received Outstanding Witness Awards.
Competing on Team 1428, which finished in 1st place, were: Brandon Amey (President, '12), Claire Whitehead ('13), Katie Clifford (E Board, '12), Corey Anderson ('14), Serena Premjee ('12), and Muneeb Ahmed ('13).
Competing on Team 1429 were: Jessie Andrews (Captain, '12), Alex Vey (E Board, Captain, '13), Clayton Sharp (E Board, '13), David Keener ('14), Yogini Patel ('15), Ainsley Liken ('15), and Matt Keskula ('15).
