E Board members are elected in the Spring of each year by a vote of the entire UGA Undergraduate Mock Trial Program. In the Fall, each E Board member leads an invitationals team consisting of 11 members.
E Board members select new members to join Mock Trial following Fall tryouts and sort teams in the Spring through a process called "Stacking". E Board is responsible for handling all administrative tasks such as team finances and hotel reservations, as well as for coordinating the annual Classic City Invitational Mock Trial Tournament.

In November of each year, E Board meets for a process called "Stacking". In this process, every team member's performance is evaluated, and five teams of 10 or 11 are narrowed down to four teams of eight. These four teams compete at Regionals.
In Stacking, members are sorted into two "A" teams and two "B" teams. "A" teams are designed to give UGA Mock Trial the best chance to compete in and win national competitions, though "B" teams are able to accept bids to Nationals if they qualify for the bid and outperform the "A" teams.

Invitationals teams consist of a mix of experienced and inexperienced members, and provide an opportunity for members to gain experience and try out various theories of the case. Each invitationals team attends two tournaments during Fall semester.
Each invitationals team is led by an E Board member and a Captain that E Board appoints to assist the E Board member in training the team.
