The University of Georgia Mock Trial Academy
ABOUT the Mock trial academy
UGA Mock Trial Academy is made possible by our collaboration with the Georgia Center’s Summer Academy Program.
Join the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens at the UGA Mock Trial Academy. Our program is ranked NUMBER 1 in the country for undergraduate mock trial and has placed within the top ten at the National Championship Tournament for the past five years.
Students attending the Mock Trial Academy will have the opportunity to work with our award winning team and learn about trial procedure, build creative arguments, and debate in a real courtroom. Students will learn to try a case against their peers in UGA Law School courtrooms. Our program gives students a preview into the legal world and allows them to build advocacy and public speaking skills. Camp instruction is provided by practicing attorneys, law professors, and seasoned mock trial competitors ensuring each student will walk away with a competitive edge to shape their future career in law.
Attending Mock Trial Academy is also a great way for students to get a taste of UGA campus life. Students will stay in the On-Campus Dorms and will eat at the Dining Commons. A campus tour will also be given highlighting the Tate Student Center, Football Stadium, and the UGA Law School.
